Knowing the Winery Rubattorno is how to breathe art and history, tradition and culture of Tuscany from 1800 to the present day.
The company, family-run, is managed by the wine making expert Carmine Potenza, his wife Fiorella and his daughter Eleonora, who aim to make known their own wines and the territory of Montalbano with a friendly and homely welcome, in a traditional Tuscan environment which Italian and foreign tourists have called “an oasis” of Montalbano.
Carmine can rely on a long tradition in Tuscan vine growing and wine producing world, grew up in a family which has been cultivating vines and olive trees for generations. Always been so in the wine world, he deals with the management of vineyards surrounding entirely the winery and of the vinification processes in cellar. Strong supporter of the philosophy of Tuscan vine dressers according to which “a good wine is born in vineyard not in cellar”, Carmine can produce natural and genuine wines of high quality which are able to express the distinctive and unique flavors of red and white bunches of this particular area of Montalbano.
Fiorella, instead, dedicates herself with enthusiasm to the welcome art and to the baskets preparation with the wines of our winery, always managing to make unique and original creations.
Eleonora, grew up in the vine growing and wine producing world and always enthusiast for foreign languages and cultures as well as the welcome and hospitality art, especially deals with foreign trade and realization of events within the Wine House (like wine tastings in cellar with the visit in the vineyards or aperitif during the summer in the garden of the winery setup ad hoc).
With the family-run the Winery Rubattorno wants to welcome people fascinated by the wine world and those who seek to approach this world telling to them in front of a glass of wine, as when we meet each other with friends or relatives in front of the fireplace during the winter or in front of a bonfire on the beach in summer, anectodes of history and tradition that wrap and make unique this exclusive area of Montalbano. A glass of wine, therefore, which has to tell more than 200 years of history.
